At The Faithful Feminists we know that living within a capitalist society means there is no true living apart from capital. However, we do believe that there are ways to resist and depart from capitalism by making conscious choices about how we participate in the system. Instead of profit, greed, and competition, we believe in giving, receiving, and sharing to build community.
We take seriously the line because I have been given much, I too must give because we believe generosity and holding things in common invites a more equitable, free world for all. When those who can give do give, this means that we can share resources, ideas, and keep our content accessible and affordable.
We believe in paying people for their labor and being paid for ours too. But more than that, we believe that artists, creators, activists, and beauty-makers are essential to imagining a world where all can flourish.
